I mean allowing more international students from China doesn't seem like a bad thing. Just gotta watch out for their weird international CCP policing thing, but most students (hopefully all?) wouldn't be a part of that.
Sure, MAGA is "enraged" or whatever but they don't care in practice. Their lord and savior says it's good so they'll just accept it.
Guy I knew from China (he was a tenant here) was a student in the US before coming to study in Canada.
He got calls and texts telling him to participate in protests or attend rallies for Republicans. Specifically one with desantis meeting with some CCP member, if I remember correctly.
Canada has had secret Chinese police units set up shop and target students as well.
Then again, maybe he was a spy.
I just assume everyone is now.
Everything is that fucked up in this world.
