Shots of ppl walking away from me Especially when i get the right frames
Photography
A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.
This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.
Abstract architecture
Astrophotography, wide field
My job is to shoot fashion and nudes.
natural lighting - I find beauty in the imperfection
Headshots
Anything event wise. Concerts, Party's etc
Cars and travel
I like cars and love to go to a racetrack and shoot there. For me, there are so many options to make a nice picture, but sometimes I am just happy to capture a beautiful car. I see more in cars than just a thing. And I try to transport this into a picture.
Traveling alone is a beautiful thing. But as a tourist I see so many interesting things in other places the people living there don't find interesting. And I am happy to capture those things.
Wildlife. Going even more niche I'd say:
- Birds
- Reptiles
- Insects (macro)
- Amphibians
- Mammals
I do a lot of nature/landscape/outdoors sports, but my niche is skiing. Ski photography is really just one more way I've schemed to get more time on the hill, and shooting on deep powder days gets really cool results with the way the snow moves
Mountain Biking.
Seems to be unpopular here, but I love taking pics of animal figures
Trees. Landscapes in general but trees catch my attention.
low light, single exposure. It can be stars, cars, landscapes, anything really.
I just love the challenge of capturing an image with the camera. I prefer to do as little post-production work as possible.
I prefer either animals (pets, wild, or zoo) or interesting architectural shots :)
Food & beverage, mostly beverage. It combines 2 of my favorite creative outlets & despite what everyone tells me, I’m working towards a career as a F&B photographer.
Sports for sure (mainly football and figure skating). Nothing beats the feeling of getting a really good news photo tho… especially if you’re the first photographer to arrive.
Multiple exposure in camera with ICM
Street and automotive that's me
Night cityscape and night street photography. Followed by model photography.
Paysage and fall 🍁🍂
Nostalgia, I love taking photos that feel nostalgic and capture this very specific, hard to explain feeling
I like shooting urban landscape shots particularly of town plazas or alleyways.
Dogs
anything fast and hardcore, punk shows, fight clubs. documentary specifically in conflict photography has always lit a fire within me.
Concerts, friends, myself- most things with people and lots of emotion. But sometimes I just go through phases of super abstract stuff
Mobile phone photography
Late to the party. It is Dance photography for me.
I'm not good at photography by any means but I really enjoy old churches, specifically the stained glass at sunset/magic hour. The way the colors cascade across old stone floors and columns just amazes me.
Black and whites. I love it when someone gives me a card with black and white photography on it. It taps into my love of vintage.
Stereo. I am working on a new project that requires stereo pairs, so it is becoming less of a niche.
Perhaps my View Master work could be considered a niche within a niche.
I love taking pictures in the “moment” or with the gut feeling. Back in college, I was taking a photography class and was able to use the equipment outside of campus.
Let me tell you, if my gut told me that this is something worth taking a picture of; I’ll do it.
It’s mostly the setting but sometimes I do catch myself catching people who are smiling and enjoying themselves in their moments.
Makes me feel happy that everyone has different experiences in life but yet show similar emotions
