23M aspiring writer and a newbie developer - I've been in the game of writing for a few years but nothing really seemed to work. I consistently hit brick walls and made a total of 0 dollars from the articles, and affiliates because of the lack of marketing and SEO awareness.

Until last night, I launched a Newsletter called Thoguhts (A weekly newsletter on how to improve oneself physically, emotionally, and psychologically. yeah basically self-improvement ideas) and hit $8 MRR within one month.

Still haven't gotten off the high, this is not my first internet dollar hit but it is so different from others because I did all the hard work rather than the platform marketing ppl's work on advertising.

Big learning from my marketing efforts - specific communities really matter--What people I can reach, then what problems do they have that I can solve, and if I can solve it how can I make money with it?

Congratulations this is such milestone. The first internet earning always breaks so many mental blockers. I remember i used to think all these educators showing how to make money online were just trying to scam me out of mine

Very cool, congratulations. I would say use social to your advantage. That's where the people gather anyway, tons of good communities.
