I have 2 205L plastic barrels, I was wondering if there was a way to put a bulkhead valve in with out having to cut extra holes in the barrel. I only want to drill a hole for the valve.

I found a bulkhead fitting that would fit through the barrel bung on mine. There is a string trick to thread it into place; but I just kinda shook the barrel a bit and it fell into place.

Do you have anymore info, like brand, make, or design? Sounds like this could be what I am looking for.

Unfortunately the only place I was able to find them was Amazon.

That's alright. I now have a starting point.

Rob Bob's Aquaponics channel has a lot of DIY stuff, and I'm certain I've seen him add spigots at some point or other. Here's a link that I think has him doing something like what you're looking for. If it doesn't, some searching through his decade of videos will get you results.

So, the first thing that video does is cut the top off the barrel. Which is exactly what I don't want to do.

I'll check out more of his videos later to see if he shows a technique I'm looking for, but the one in that video is opposite of my desired design.

That search was 2 minutes of my time combined with previous knowledge. The information you need is there. If you don't want to put in the effort to find it, why should I?

The one fucking thing I said I don't want to do is the first step he took. I was asking if people already knew a method and was asking for their insights.

Great interaction....

Edit: also on the topic of not wanting to do the legwork shows you seem to have comprehension issues as I don't have time to go through a decade of videos at work.

Well, as long as you're the only one with a busy life, I suppose that makes sense, but you still haven't explained why I should put in more effort than you're willing to.

As for the hole in the top, it doesn't matter if he makes another hole that doesn't require the top hole first. So sorry for not reviewing the video to be sure. If only I had cautioned that this specific video may not be relevant, but there were similar ones that would be. If only...

Buds, YOU'RE the one who should think about their responses.

Congratulations on getting upset because of your half assed help.
