This is the first I've heard of this project. I'm so excited! I always disliked how the films adapted the books in release order. Quite frankly, I find The Magicians Nephew, A Horse and His Boy, and The Silver Chair consistently more interesting than the Pevensie's chronicles.

Same here, all of the most interesting stuff somehow never makes it onto film. I think The Silver Chair did get produced in the BBC (?) miniseries ages ago…
Justice for Puddleglum
Would love to see an A Horse and His Boy adaptation.
I'm not religious anymore but still use the analogy of doing good in the name of ~~Satan~~ Tash is still doing good and doing horrible things in the name of ~~God~~ Aslan is still doing horrible things. Cough cough responding to a war crime with an even bigger war crime in Gaza cough cough
All 3 non-Pevensie books are fucking wild, but that one tops it.
It almost feels more like a Biblical story than all the others. I mean, it's entirely in Calormen. Shasta gets sold by his adoptive dad at the beginning! Brutal and insane, just like my other favorite: The Silver Chair.
