Getting the loud notification via phone speakers would definitely get my attention versus an overlay sound through BT.

I'll never understand how people buy coffees for more but something that helps them each day is too expensive.

(aside from the point that this app might not work for you if course)

I'm aware the Dev offers a refund. Reading the entire description didn't give indication it could perform like I'm looking for.

I do pay for apps. I paid for the best Lemmy app I'm using right now:

I'm pretty sure Tasker could handle it. You could probably also limit it to just playing notifications for a single app, or only when connected to one specific BT device, if that's what you're after.
