Also, Skyblivion is a mod for Skyrim, so as long as it's a legit copy, Bethesda still made money off you at some point anyway. That probably helps a bit, too.

Worse isn't really the appropriate word. It's more dated mechanically than Skyrim, but it also has some interesting game mechanics to that ended up cut from Skyrim, like spellcrafting. In terms of story, it's got one of the most interesting DLCs the series has had to date, Shivering Isles, and a lot of other decent questlines in the base game and other DLC areas. Worst parts of the remaster are probably just poor optimization for UE5, so it can often run like crap on PC, and of course, all the existing design issues and bugs that Oblivion already had from its original iteration, because the original engine and game logic is still all there and what was principally changed was the UI, the graphics renderer, and some quality of life stuff here and there.

I'm trans so it's not just the kid photos for me, even ones from as recent as four years ago give me this feeling. While I'm not yet out or passing, so other people still see me as I was and not as I will be, when I look at old photos I have issues recognizing myself, I just see a stranger. Something about the tiny little changes in the face that HRT does I guess.
The DRM is optional for use by the devs. Rimworld is one game I know doesn't use it, you can just zip the entire thing up and put it somewhere else and it'll run fine. It's still a launcher. But the only better alternative to a launcher is plain installers to download and hold onto like GOG provides as an alternative to its Galaxy launcher.
Extremely common thing to be into, too, but then the main thing that puts me off with foot people is the same thing that puts me off with any fetishes; creeps who don't know boundaries. What they neglected to explain was that Cyberpunk Red is the fourth, and latest, edition of the Cyberpunk tabletop RPG on which Cyberpunk 2077's world and game mechanics are based. This document they included in the game files is a rule book for that.
On a random day in either January or February, I just decided I was fed up with windows and microsoft and installed linux Mint. While not problem-free, the experience was rather pleasant. I might make a Windows VM for the few things that I can't get working on linux, but at the same time, I just kind of don't want to bother. Now, when I read about windows getting worse, I don't have to worry about myself, and that's a huge relief.
