Pretty sad the folks going around claiming to be champions of common sense don't even understand a extremely basic concept like "the dose makes the poison".

Well funded backers have created a social media campaign that's impossible to ignore on sites like Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Youtube, and Canada's largest traditional media company being bought out by Chatham Asset Management, which set the editorial mandate for every paper under it's banner to support the party.

Plus, he's playing by a different set of rules. His supporters won't punish him for wasting taxpayer money with these by-elections, and the CPC can afford to just run election campaign after election campaign.

End of the day, there is a lot of money going into making sure CPC talking points sound like their speaking truth to power, the fact it's the powerful funding this campaign seems lost on many. But as long as they have people looking left or right, they're not looking up, and thats what really matters.

Could be worse, but it's a gamble. The big companies are just set up to get the rug pulled out from under them by creative young programmers who have a better understanding of this technology. Let's be real though, I feel like this policy is designed for marketing the LPC to young less crazy conservatives. Instead of the CPC being pulled back into our shared reality, they've pulled the LPC into the griftosphere.

The UCP never intended the legislation to be used against them, it was for them to use against left wing city councils. Remember the attempted mayor recall by now UCP backed city councillor (Lagdon Johnston) in Calgary? The UCP only governs in bad faith, this statement is just more gaslighting, if we could somehow utilize the gas from UCP gaslighting, we'd double Canada's energy production overnight.

100% we have two parties that seem to only serve the lobbyists, but we only end up voting for both these parties which leaves them with no incentive to change their ways.

It's interesting, but when you google this guy you get a great insight into the conservative echo chamber in Alberta/Canada, he works for multiple conservative organizations & think tanks, he writes for Postmedia, Juno News, and is a huge decimator of pro-GOP misinformation among the CPC base.

He's a big part of their targeted messaging campaign, when you look at the positions and writing, you see the misinformation that inspired the convoy. It's clear the CPC has been making the most of this mans tenure and PhD to maximize the impact of their misinformation and messaging campaigns.

Even just a small fine would go a long way, it's just a very difficult policy to market to the general public.

Welcome to the Rebellion, here is your temporary pass for the staff room, we'll mail you a nice laminated one with a picture on it next week. salute

Smith needs to see a plastic surgeon about getting herself some of that Mar-largo face if she wants Trump to notice her.

It's all about marketing, thinking Ticketmaster said to themselves, if these scalpers are making so much money, we're missing out on profit, the crackdown on scalpers is probably more about trying to capture lost revenue. Hi, my first post on this site. :P
