Can someone please explain to me how companies are getting around the laws which are in place to stop unequal pay?

Do you want the cliffnotes or do you want me to dump you the entire history of the IWW?

Whatever you think will effectively illustrate it

The state and employers are ultimately on the same side. When company towns were subjugating workers, the IWW came to save them. However, the bosses didn't like that so they got the military to shoot at them. Many died, but ultimately the unionists won. Upon losing, the government claimed victory and made company towns illegal to save face. See, they were on their side of the people this whole time!!

I cannot stress this enough. They literally shot at people who were trying to free employees from slave-like conditions.

Don't see what this has to do with gender equality laws or anything outside of the USA.
