Considering how dedicated teams have to be just in their regular tournament schedules, if there's no prize pool to make it worth while I'm not sure the ioc will get a good turnout.

It might be the first time the IOC is hosting a tournament where the athletes are the ones getting paid, instead of the committee members. Like you, I have my doubts one way or another.
