Serious response: guy with gray beard appears to be wearing a wrist-mounted compass. Appears to be a Suunto.

why would they not use a proper field watch with legit military heritage like Hamilton?

/s if it's not obvious.

this is why the whole "military heritage" marketing line from watch brands really don't work for me. am I supposed to be LARP'ing as a ww2 pilot or frogmen when I decide what watch to wear each morning?

Damn u have a good eye, I gifted my brother a suunto core watch since he retired from the military, loves hunting and camping.
