I remember kids with meter long rip cords and giant knock offs and extra large metal disks that terrorised the playground back in the day lol. There were also kids with knock off metal disks with flints that spark when 2 bayblades hit each other so that was cool.

ha that's sort of what I did, not knockoffs but I used the largest diameter weight disk combined with the smallest diameter bottom and top , so the metal corners(it was hexagonal iirc) of the disk would stick out further than the plastic 'blades' of the topper
