I do the 20km/h, no matter how much it pisses other people off.
But that 5km/h MUST be there as a liability waiver for the ferry; no car’s going to go less than 8km/h up one of those ramps. But if anyone tries to sue them they can just argue that the person was speeding so they’re not liable.
Do you have dashcam of doing 20 there? That is a long journey at 20 lol, and it's also one of the smoothest sections of pavement in all of BC
I take it you’re talking about Tsawwassen? Because that’s about the only ferry terminal in BC I’d classify as “smooth,” and I’ve been at most of them.
No dashcam footage, but I’m sure there’s lots of people with stories of the guy they got stuck behind actually doing 20 all the way down the causeway.
Swartz Bay, maybe Tsawwassen isn't quite as silly as this one
