A blockchain research organization pioneering the future of finance. Loopring is building protocols, infrastructure, and user-facing DeFi products atop Ethereum, envisioning a digital economy that empowers its participants with full and guaranteed self-custody of their assets.

DeFi doesn't have to be a trade-off between security and performance. With this in mind, Loopring's Layer2 solutions work in synergy with Ethereum Layer1, enabling low-fee, high-speed, Ethereum-secured platforms for trustless trading, swapping, liquidity providing, and payment.

It looks like the Python SDK hasn’t been updated in like 2 years. I’ve been using it to build a bot but I’ve had to tweak some of the code in the SDK to get it to work properly. And when I was trying to get price data for a 24 hour period, only like 18 hours would be returned. Is there a plan to get this working better and add features like get moving averages for a certain period?

You can check the new doc page

https://docs.loopring.io/

And also feel free to hop in the DC for more technical questions and those who can help

I feel like the new doc page has less info than the old one. Also, no offense, but I feel like this is such a non-answer. Like are you guys gonna update the SDK or no?

It’s been a couple days now and still no response in the developers chat on discord. How are you guys expecting for people to build on top of loopring if the SDK doesn’t work??

Shows how dead this project is

Well I don’t think the project is dead, but the SDK is pretty worthless in it’s current state. And the fact that the only advice I got from the team here was “go say this on discord” is pretty annoying. In my opinion, if I can’t work programmatically with the DEX then sadly I need to find a new L2 option.
