So they release a dedicated server to self host?

[–] rozodru@piefed.world 26 points 1 week ago

i mean all companies have to do is just bring back self-hosting servers and dedicated servers. literally ALL they have to do is bring back the multiplayer of the late 90s/early 00s. that's it.

I mean hell I still play on old UT servers for 99 and 2k4. I still play on TFC and Q3A servers. it's simple but it's fun.

TL;DR: They will have grindable 'coins' and purchasable virtual currency that you can buy cosmetic items with. Some of the items can only be bought with real money. No mention of dedicated server.

That's a lot of bullshit for "no bullshit"

[–] lemmelemmy@feddit.org 11 points 1 week ago

And it was free to play multiplayer. No need for subscription

It was written by LLM isn't it?

[–] FishFace@piefed.social 2 points 1 week ago

If it were LLM it would be followed by a positive statement like ", just a" :)
