Always wanted Meze's and the 99 was going for a good price. I'm thoroughly pleased about the overall build quality! Any tips for a new owner? (Where to purchase cables, best DAC to use and where to procure replacement parts)

If you want an excuse to get a dac and have money to burn , get a Bluetooth dac! Top 2 for different reasons , ifi Go Blu because its tiny and unfussy with a fantastic tactile control knob you can control from your pocket, and the only EQ is ifis XBass and XSpace, or the Qudelix 5k because its got so these tons of EQ options that if you would like to be kept amused with fiddling with the sound as an actual thing you like to do (they actually make fidget specific gadgets that spin) go for that.

I actually got the FiiO BTR15 along with the Meze purchase. I 100% agree that a BT DAC is essential for wired headphones! I watched Ready Player One in 4k UHD yesterday with the Meze and BTR15 and I was thoroughly impressed how good the overall quality and dynamic range was! A massive improvement over my usual Sony XM5 or Skullcandy Crushers (all tho Crushers is amazing for actions/sci-fi) choice. Also impressed that not single loss of bitrate occurred, which does happen with my XM5 or other BT Headphones on a random bases.
