Anyone had any cool experiences up north in the winter? Kinda gets boring having nice weather 12 months a year. Wondering if anyone had posted up and skied for months at a time or anything similar.

It may come as a shock, but the original post was asking for a bit more nuance than "Are there any countries in the world that get cold in the winter?" Lol.
