So I’ve been trying IEMs for gaming and things like gunfire or reloading on any game are just ear piercing. I’ve tried adjust my EQ program (steelseries). But it still seems very sharp and uncomfortable. Any tips?

I’ve tried ZS10 Pros and ZSN Pro X I know they are cheap compared to others but I’ve seen good reviews and no complaints of my type that I can find

Yeah that’s what I was figuring, the ZS10s aren’t as bad as the ZSN pros. Thanks for the reply. If you have any other recommendations as I do have a little higher budget, would be appreciated.

Truthear Hexa is super clean, clear and not too sharp and probably can be EQ'd to be even better pretty easily. Honestly, anything Truthear makes is great. The reds are all the hype, probably well tuned for gaming.

I personally use the Aful Performer 5, but not for gaming. But I guess that thing plays in a different budget.

You could probably try the popular moondrop choices or the Kiwi ears Cadenza if you don't want to try Truthear's stuff. But I've seen 3 pairs from them now and all of them have very good build quality so that speaks for this brand.
