I tried using the apple music preview on the microsoft store but when i checked the file type of the song it said 256kbps 44.1khz, when I know that on my phone its 24 bit 96khz

Probably lucky to have even gotten that far. I haven't been able to use Apple Music Preview at all, lol.

As far as I understand there doesn't seem to be an easy native way to. There used to be an electron app that got close, but that got converted into Cider, and Cider doesn't seem to allow high res music at the moment with the devs just saying they're working on it.

Most people have recommended side loading the android application on windows. With the Amazon App Store in the windows store bringing in "official" android emulation by Microsoft, you can do it through that now. https://beebom.com/how-install-apple-music-windows-11/

Why? If it’s just for the few, minor visual changes, there’s apps you can install to change them back (or even just registry hacks).

I’m using both Windows 11 and Apple Music preview, and I have zero issues with either. The original version of AM was incredibly buggy, but it’s become a lot better recently.
