The rule is bullshit but if it saves me from watching him vs city ban him today

[–] GrumpyOldFart74@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Is there any decent video of this?

The one I saw, it looks like he stretched down for a second, but that’s all you could see.

Maybe he threw something, but even with a lot of imagination at most it looked like he was flicking it off the pitch

Again, not what you’d call a big fan of Chelsea or Sterling (and I won’t cry if he’s suspended against us) but they better have more to go on than the video I’ve seen to be even talking about this?!

Pretty dumb if he did throw something back tbh.

It would obviously lead to further action.

He didn’t throw anything at them, because Sterling doesn’t pass

[–] diggerda@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Maybe it was a shot "on goal"

[–] GL4389@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Doesn't pass with his feet. We don't know his capability with his hands though.

Footballing laws are discriminatory to Raheem's personal skill set

Seems hypocritical to launch a probe at him for throwing an object

[–] PartlyRowdy@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Indeed. I hope they get hit with the book.

[–] SoggyMattress2@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I'm more surprised he actually hit someone and didn't throw the object into row z

[–] GL4389@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Launch to counter a launch.

[–] CmdrVamuelSimes@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Seems like projecting to me.

[–] dunneetiger@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It seems unfair: he is just returning the gums someone lost.

[–] MionelLessi10@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

He was just trying to throw something off the pitch that a fan had thrown on. Don't expect him to be in target.

i swear the FA are looking for one thing or another to fuck over chelsea. I for one don’t appreciate it.

And what even were all of the VAR checks so long for? One moment it seems like VAR does nothing. The next players are walking around the pitch, cock in hand, while the refs continue to look for one more error.

[–] FUMFVR@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Chelsea does enough to fuck over themselves

[–] Zokilala@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He threw himself to the ground a few times against tots when no contact was made

[–] UnKarl_Marx@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

classless fans throwing objects at the players and the classless player throwing the object back at the crowd.

sums up Chelsea and Spurs perfectly

[–] saltpsychbhafc@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Instead they should be begging for their rapist CM to not be so injury prone

[–] msbr_@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

You worship and still employ a literal rapist i'd pipe down about class

[–] AllYouNeedIsATV@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Where are the A leaguers

[–] Xgunter@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Wow, they actually did something! My mate was at the game and we were talking about it at HT because it wasn’t shown in broadcast.

[–] Rc5tr0@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

“I threw something at the Chelsea players, did they mention me?”

[–] themerinator12@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Ridiculous. I'd expect any player to pick something up like that and, if they're going to throw it with enough force to get it off the pitch, toss it that far. He shouldn't be in any trouble.

Where’s the probe for MMA fighter turned footballer Guimaraes

[–] ConfidentEagle5887@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Meanwhile Man City have 115 FFP violations stretching back years and no action is taken.

[–] SeekersWorkAccount@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

2 year ban from holiday fireworks, no less

[–] ryodiUK@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I wonder if they'll wait until next season to impose the ban so it doesn't affect Chelsea like they did with Richarlison.

[–] Lintal@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Banned for returning an item a overgrown baby threw on the pitch smh

[–] Oshowcinco@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Most fans deserve to have stuff thrown at them
