Eagles and Browns competing for a hole players. Oh yeah, we have Matt Rapetricia as a coach too.

This is the most non story i've ever read. But because he has had one completely unrelated incident before this, people are gonna assume he was actively trying to steal from Target.
Can’t believe he fell to the Eagles
It’s like we walked out without paying for him.
There’s lots of body cam footage on YouTube of police arresting lots of folks for this very thing. They always say it’s a misunderstanding, that’s why someone else carries the bag after the scanner, deniability.
“Skip scanning”
I guess he is just an unlucky dude. All this bade stuff always happening. Never his fault though.
damn lotta people reaching on this and ready to call this man a criminal. something tells me if he played for a different team the response would be different..
Lol My team’s fans constantly shit on our own players
Character issues
So they were trying to steal from Target, got busted and proceeded to act in typical ghetto fashion 😐👍
Yup, the guy who's a near lock to win defensive rookie of the year that fell into a perfect situation and has a massive spotlight on him from the other arrest is totally stealing some items from Target while paying for others. Makes total sense.
Way too many people are pissy they didn't draft him and are praying for him to fail.
I see they were speeding through the self checkout…..
I’ll see myself out.
Hey, let’s not rule out this being a viral marketing campaign by Target.
A lot of chatter in here over a nothing burger
You mean as in this is typical Philadelphia or typical athletes or typical...something?
2 characters incidents in under 1 year and counting…
And so it begins.
Ppl are hungry and cant afford food. Maybe he was stealing bread.
His misunderstanding was that he was caught by Target security.
I've seen things around the cash register, he knew what he was doing
I know most athletes are stupid but I find it hard to believe a multi millionaire felt the need to shoplift
You'd be surprised how many celebrities been caught for lifting, and that's just the ones who were caught
Winona Ryder...
Same, used to work at one, and people would “forget” to scan stuff all the time. It’s not hard to see and hear the item pop up on the screen after scanning
You’re an NFL player and you’re ghost swiping items at target.
He needs to check himself, because the behaviors he’s exhibiting are trending in the wrong direction. Dude has money to pay for whatever he’s buying. If it’s his girl, then he needs to address that with her immediately. Unfortunately athletes have a higher image and standard around them and you are who you put yourself around.
He has several million dollars in actual cash in his bank accounts. I'd wager a lot of money on it being an actual misunderstanding for the simple reason there is no item in target he'd find worth stealing or helping someone else steal rather than swiping a card. The most expensive item target carries is a 20 ft artifical tree which costs 20k and I don't think fit in a bag at self checkout. The whole thing stems from "rumors" precisely because nothing was reported or written down yet everyone's immediately citing theft.
You over estimate people's values and ethics. Celebrities and millionaires try to steal and rip people off all the time.
No, no, no; it's only capitalist pigs who steal from the people, not the down-to-earth multi-millionaire sports, music, and media stars we idolize and pedestalize.
That’s because that is your mindset. Some people grew up with nothing and know to steal. Some people are just cleptos. You can have all the money in the world and still get a thrill from stealing some tic tacs from target.
Bro rich people steal small shit the most. It's not about the value of the items.
90% of people that had rich friends in high school have stories about those rich friends stealing all the time.
Those aren't rich friends. Those are "well off" kids. This dude has more liquid cash than all but a maybe a million Americans. Peopel view their friends families with million dollar houses as rich. Thats not rich.
this is insanely delusional
“Jalen, tell us about the car racing incident that resulted in a fatal crash.”
“Probably just some misunderstanding… I don’t really know too much about it.”
Yeah I'm definitely 100% okay with getting the best running back and tight end in the draft instead of this guy.
lmao what an idiotic take.
I know he makes millions of dollars but he’s a big ass dude, surely he can’t afford to maintain his weight on a measly rookie salary
What a terrible thing. He should really be banished to a team like the Chicago Bears for life…
Now here's a guy that listens to advice from Cris Carter
If stealing from the self checkout at Target is a crime then lock me up
This is a non story for literally anyone else. Does anyone really believe it was intentional and that a young millionaire feels the need to steal some trivial items at Target? It’s a shame that the media will do whatever they can to try and push their bad guy narrative with him.
Rich people shoplift all the time.
Oh no! Anyway…
So... they got called out for stealing, and then they acted like children getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
Got it
So GF was "scanning" items and he was just bagging them?
I recently got stuff on self checkout and just at home realized some itens were not scanned. Went back to the supermarket and they said it was ok and that I should pay more attention next time
An alarmingly high amount of people here think a millionaire was purposefully trying to steal some stuff from target lol.
Target is pretty strict with their loss policies. Will be interesting to follow.
Jalen Carter has a deadly swipe move. Can you believe he fell to the Eagles?!?!?!
Would've been awesome to see the video of security trying to take him down. Try and tackle this boys..
Why would he have his girlfriend steal? He has hundreds of millions of dollars. Why would she purposefully steal? He has hundreds of millions of dollars. I believe the man. Misunderstanding
