I honestly don't see what people are moaning about, or rather, I don't understand how they don't know the rules by now.
I remember being annoyed when VAR was first introduced and goals were getting disallowed for fouls that occurred after a clearance or deflection in a play. I learned that it's not a new passage of play after clearances or deflections, the same as offsides.
The other matter is the handball, VAR has been clear since it was first introduced. Any handball by the attacker, no matter the context, in the play that leads to a goal gets called back as a foul, always.
It's like we went back in time a few years ago when VAR was introduced. These complains happened all the time then but they slowed down as it was mostly consistent with it and everyone learned the rules, but apparently not.
