The Lakers were just in the WCF and the Embiid 76ers are a perennial 2nd round exit

In theory they should be the better team not blown out like this

DeMar definitely got that old head mentality but he still a good dude and seems to get a lot of respect around the league

Nah the value he brings over Melton isn’t that huge and he’s always injured

Nick Nurse has more trust in our guys than Doc. He lets young guys like Paul Reed make mistakes whereas Doc would bench him for multiple games

There was a time this season when Maxey & our 2nd unit were cooking so Nurse let them play the entire 4th (and won). Doc in that situation would’ve subbed Embiid/Tobias in because of his rigidity
