Taking candid shots of people I know when I see them being natural and expressive and interesting looking, trying to get that moment in a shot, and then they immediately see me and do this face straight into the camera...
I love candid photos. I blend in and an quiet so it’s easy for me to just not be noticed. Helped my sibling take some wedding photos and caught a few. One was a big burly groomsman bending down to smell some flowers a flower girls held up for him. Another was the grandma of the groom? I think? Drinking from a large flask at the reception.
One of my sneaky moves is to call someone over and tell them to pretend I'm showing them a picture while I take a photo, because I need to get a pic of their friend looking cool without spooking them! It usually works and it's kind of fun because you can show your "accomplice" the result.
