Everyone talking about all the super deep teams and the rough Western Conference while in the end, Denver will simply school everybody again.

Nah, they got worse in the off season. I think LA and PHX are favorites in the West.

LA??? What are you on?

[–] plattinum_75@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

LA will still be relying on 40 year old lebron and inconsistent AD to carry them. They also just aren't a great shooting team.

PHX will be a horrible defensive team and bad on the glass as well. Denver will eat them alive on the offensive glass.

The only team that scares me as a Nuggets fan is golden state getting hot from 3.

You are forgetting Reaves. If he continues at the pace he was at he’s an allstar level player this year.

That being said it will depend if Lebron declines a lot they have no chance. If he’s about same as last year it could be close.

It’s interesting you are more worried about golden state than the suns

chuckle Reaves

If that’s the case he has a case for top 15 all time. Back to back championships in an era that had more talent than ever

[–] potatomanflan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He'd probably retire as a top-10, even if he got another ring this year and then retired his resume would be comparable to Hakeem's. That's not to mention the rest of his career. He's so dominant with so little effort that I could see him retiring with like 4 MVPs even loafing it in the RS (and like 3 rings).

Especially considering nobody has even made back to back finals since the Warriors in 2019

In fairness, that doesn't sound too impressive when that was only four years ago.
