God dammit Adam!

[–] garryl283@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (16 children)

Well now it's happening, so which QB is it going to be?

[–] throwawayreddit714@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

We’ll we’ve taken out 2 straight, so if I was Herbert I’d be a little worried.

Well, its about that time of year when Lamar Jackson goes down - based on the last couple years

I've never been happier to know that Dak has the day off.

What does this even mean? They're gonna be throwing flags for looking at the qb?

Stay safe Jordan Love🙏

[–] cris9288@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Next season, defenses are going to have to count 3 Mississippi's after the ball is snapped before rushing.

You just had to say something didn’t you?

[–] notwhoyouknow12@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I am assuming we are going to see a lot of ticky tacky flags today

[–] Mechabeastchild@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

If that happen some should sign just Matt Ryan at that point

[–] Goddess_Of_Gay@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And then Ryan gets sacked by Cam Jordan who came out of retirement for the occasion, both players suffering broken legs and out for the rest of the season.

[–] CapriciousnArbitrary@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Let’s play more games on shorter rest to increase revenue. Then they wonder why so many players including stars are getting hurt more frequently and severely.

If it wasn’t for the Eagles being so good, I’d be checked out on football until the postseason at this point. The 2023 regular season has been a dull, injury-plagued disaster full of lopsided snoozefests.

Look at the Thanksgiving slate. Terrible.

[–] Original_Profile8600@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Y’all never fail to amaze. There have been plenty of great games this year as their always is. I can name atleast 20 off the top of my head, I genuinely don’t know what you’re on about

[–] ZeroFunStatix@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (13 children)

We have to suffer through terrible RTP calls just for half the QBs in the league to get injured anyway

Be nice if the NFL did literally anything to prevent Achilles injuries but nope can’t be bothered to so they can just blame themselves

So all other weeks they are hoping starting QBs get injured?

[–] DapDaGenius@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ikr. This is such a weird way to just say a stat. Would have made more sense to say “a starting QB has had a season ending injury every week over the last 4 weeks”. That’s it. No need to say “the NFL is hoping for no more injuries”. No shit. They want the best product on the field, so they can sell more tickets, have better advertising for matchups and overall have more interesting games.

Are they? Or are you just sensationalizing the headline that four quarterbacks were injured the four previous weeks?

[–] SunYat-Sen@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I know a lot of our fanbase jumped on Logan Wilson cause he was involved in 3 tackles that players got injured so if this is the 3rd week in a row the QB the Ravens face is hurt are we dirty?

[–] SuperSaiyanSandwich@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Nope, just like Logan Wilson isn’t. Having AFCN fans whine endlessly about a tackle that is still legal was embarrassing.

Unfortunate that Wilson was in on 3 unlucky plays(including one which I’d consider bad form and mildly dangerous) but he wasn’t out there trying to murder people like James Harrison did to Colt McCoy.

The league is truly suffering from terrible offensive line play for a multitude of reasons. Brady just spoke about it, the shortened camp and coaching quality.

Nobody seemed to care when Lance, Garappollo, and Purdy got busted up last year. Now some of their favorites go down and there’s a problem…. Hilarious.

I like that backups who would not be given a chance are getting their Purdy shot

[–] Doobie_Howitzer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Are you kidding? We literally still haven't heard the end of y'all crying "If Purdy didn't get hurt-" lmfao

[–] LeBremsstrahlung@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Did someone in the NFL ask Schefter to report this? Magic Johnson type tweet.

[–] Original_Series_717@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (5 children)

It’s almost like the ticky tac RTP calls actually do nothing

At this rate teams will have to implement "closer" QBs like they have closing pitchers in baseball.

[–] BeneficialChance3672@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Lol. This jinxed it for sure.

[–] ___Elextrix@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

If Purdy, Mahomes, and Hurts all went down today I’d be very surprised

[–] dogboaner666@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Purdy is not playing today

Protect CJ Stroud at all costs

[–] Hobbit-dog91@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

They're going to ban hitting the quarterback next

[–] Fredly_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (7 children)

Funny how the NFL is doing everything they can to prevent injuries except mandate the things that might cost the owners money like good turf.

Our starting QB got his new tattoo ruined... so maybe it'll be a good week.

[–] fireneeb@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wow this is breaking news from Schefter

[–] pickleparty16@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Shut your mouth schefter

[–] Livid_Opportunity467@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

And after all the rule changes to protect the QB? 🤣

[–] joeyl5@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Football players are getting stronger and stronger but there's a limit to tendons and skeletal architecture...

[–] rallar8@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Every time a starting QB goes down, they just break a starting defensive players legs, boom- solved!

I am going back to sleep until game time.

[–] AntMavenGradle@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Going to happen to eagels

[–] accountforeddit@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hey Mahomes

[–] RatedDAL@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

As long as the 49ers don't lose again, the odds are in starting QBs favor of not being lost for the season.
