And still funny to me.

Am I now immature school kid or a boomer? :p

so this obviously isn't a real worksheet but,

it annoys me how people seem to think that children are stupid, or incapable of picking up or understanding vocabulary that is all around them. simplyfing a concept doesn't always result in a simpler concept, quite often it just becomes incoherent and meaningless. if a child can read (or is learning to read) then they understand the concept of "decoration", hell, throw "baubles" at them, if they ask "what's this?" just explain, it's the perfect exercise for that kind of thing, tell them what it is, and then watch them engage with the idea for the next 10-15min as they doodle

got yelled as a child at school for something like that (might have been 7ish). just wanted to make kids laugh to get friends. instead was yelled at as if I was trying to smuggle cp into the school. I think it was bs and kids should be free to express themselves without being yelled it because the teacher got offended

still not over it

Fuck this! The student answered according to the teacher's instructions. If she didn't like his interpretation, she should have been clearer in her instructions, and used the word ornaments, or an adjective to describe the balls.

I'd give him an A for using Critical Thinking Skills. If I was that kid's parent, I'd be having a talk with the teacher. Give my kid an F for properly following your poor instructions? I don't think so.

You say that as though testicles can't be ornamental. (Or festive, sparkly, etc.)

I've seen this a lot, but it's only now that I'm questioning... what the hell is an F+?

I would think it would be teachers saying "that's funny, but I can't reward you for being funny"
