But a blockbuster Washington Post investigation just flushed the Office of Remigration’s activities out into the light. Relying on a series of leaked documents, the Post reports that at Stephen Miller’s direction, the agency is effectively paying out huge sums of taxpayer money to some really nasty governments in exchange for their acceptance of third-country deportees who, for various reasons, cannot be returned to their countries of origin.

third-country deportees who, for various reasons, cannot be returned to their countries of origin.

"Various reasons" ranging from

  • don't care where they end up

To

  • intentonally stranding them in a foreign land to die out of sight

or 3) Terrify everyone else intentionally with this purposeful inhumane treatment in the hope that they "self-deport" because racist shits like Miller want a white country.

While the world largely agreed after WWII to end the practice of exiling people into statelessness, it is one of the oldest practices of mankind. We know they're trying to recreate slavery without using the "S" words. "Remigration" doesn't start with "E".

I hope I live to see the day Stephen Miller gets sent to CECOT.

Sure, sure.

Reality is he will sit on the Boards of a few large corporations and live in a mansion until he dies of autoerotic asphyxia.

Public stockade where everyone can toss rotten tomatoes at him, with people targeted by his terrorism getting dibs? I imagine it would be a very long line....

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago

I would so love to see him frog-marched out of that base where he's hiding from protesters.

Finally, sources say, Democrats are discussing the need to haul in the officials running this program and question them vigorously about these arrangements. “Congress should demand answers from those responsible for diverting taxpayer funding intended to protect people from persecution to some of the world’s worst authoritarians, for purposes which clearly violate human rights,” Aaron Reichlin-Melnick of the American Immigration Council tells me.

Is stronger evidence needed that the Executive Branch has too much power? The Executive is supposed to insure the laws passed by Congress are carried out.

That shit stain needs to be put under a prison.

Won't happen.

He'll leave office and start a podcast, join the board of some fascist tech company, get a book deal, maybe become a talking head on FOX News, then show up in 2032 with his favorite pick for president while liberals scream and cry about how he lied on his taxes back when the IRS still existed.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 weeks ago

...then finally die in his closet of autoerotic asphyxiation watching immigrant trans porn.

I actually think your wrong. They will say that Trump had dementia all along and certain people were pulling his strings. A handful of scape goats will get punished, like Miller will get prosecuted for ICE crimes, Kegseth for War crimes, etc. Then they will say we need to move on and heal and forget all about it. 5 years later people will probably forget they ever were on prison after they are pardoned.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

They will say that Trump had dementia all along and certain people were pulling his strings.

The #NeverTrumpers and MSNBCIA Liberals already say that.

Miller will get prosecuted for ICE crimes

I will put $100 on the table to your $20 that Miller doesn't see so much as an indictment inside the next four years.

Kegseth for War crimes, etc.

I will put $200 to your $20 on this one.

Business as usual for this in power, damning to everyone who’s paying attention.

[–] Eternal192@anarchist.nexus 8 points 3 weeks ago

He is just missing a swastika on his forehead and it would be a big one considering the size of it although he might have it somewhere else, like a tramp stamp.

[–] Garbagio@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 weeks ago

Damning you say. Despicable, even. Would be nice if anyone did anything besides write think pieces. Would be nice if those words meant anything from MSM.

[–] antianarchist@sopuli.xyz 6 points 3 weeks ago

Democrats! Get your pens ready. The time has come to send a serious letter.
