So Freund was just acting coy when he said 3 days ago that he thinks Ulreich will extend before christmas.

Then they should look at the u17 striker from Burkina Faso of the same name, I'm sure he would be much cheaper.

And Liverpool.

Bayern are only looking at Martin Zubimendi for the summer transfer window. João Palhinha is still an topic. It is realistic that Bayern will make another bid for him in the winter, but the financial conditions must be right.

Fulham has a gentlemen's agreement with Palhinha: If a club offers a moderate transfer fee for Palhinha in time for them to sign a successor, Fulham would lower the transfer fee slightly (to around €50m). Palhinha could also play centre-back.

Adam Aznou is being talked about more and more internally at FC Bayern, as he is performing at his best this season and making a good impression. After his first six months, it was said internally that he still had to improve, which happened in 2023.

Bayern have the ulterior motive that Aznou could move into the professional team should Alphonso Davies leave. Aznou is developing in the right direction.

As talent development coordinator, Richard Kitzbichler looks after the loaned players. Many agents rave about the communication from Kitzbichler & Christoph Freund, who contact the players, ask questions and take an interest in them.

This hasn't happened at all in recent years. It wasn't seen as that important and therefore didn't have the positions for it.

Although the German internationals had Wednesday off, Leroy Sané came to Säbener Straße and worked individually. He met Thomas Tuchel that day.

Davies was presented by Brazzo, while Musiala was a 16 year old with no first team experience. Normally Irankunda would fall under the Davies category (same age, similar experience, similar country of origin), but here its Sauer completing it, not Freund/Brazzo.

So it really is a youth transfer for now, with Sauer being the one responsible for the deal.

The football segment is owned to 75% by the member-led club, and to 8.33% each by Audi, Allianz and Adidas. And when a shareholder-owned company makes profit, then it's normal that the owners get money (dividends) from it. It's 0.30€ per share, or a total of 9m€. The member-led club uses that to pay for other sport segments like Handball etc., and the 3 other owners get is as income.

Those are not the stats of a "least able passer. Also he is on top of all players in the top 5 leagues, if he were bad at it then someone else would be in front of him.

I did find it interesting that we sold that many Kane shirts so quickly lol. That's madness hahaha 🤣.

He also said that some of the people working at the media department had to work extra hours on Sunday to make more shirts in the local Bayern store to cover the expected demand.

0€ liabilities

No, 0€ bank liabilities/long-term liabilities. I will apparently die on this hill, but we have account payables just like every other major company in the world.

Be aware that I am transcribing while listening to it, so any grammatical or rhetorical mistakes are just part of the flair. And no guarantee that this is complete, it's what I deem interesting.

  • A delegation of Bundesliga managers traveled with the German national team to the US to network with US franchises, including Freund and Eberl

  • contract extension: nothing much happened yet, Sane will be the first one, Kimmich after. Müller and Neuer aren't high priority, could even only be a topic next spring

  • Wirtz: Brazzo was the main driver, Falk tells about the story where Wirtz and his dad were in a Munich Beergarden with a Bayern representative, and Wirtz loved that we were interested. It'll probably get hot from our side again

  • we will target a defender and a DM in the winter, maybe even an added youth talent on top

  • Manu Kone: he is on the list and we are watching him

  • Palhinha: a transfer in the winter isn't excluded, but he will be probably a bit more expensive than in the summer

  • Ouedraogo: we are scouting him, Altschäffl rightly says that it's our job to have an eye on German talent.

  • Mustafi: no interest

  • Phillips: is discussed internally, but only in the beginning stages

Be aware that I am transcribing while listening to it, so any grammatical or rhetorical mistakes are just part of the flair. And no guarantee that this is complete, it's what I deem interesting.

  • Eberl: Mintzlaff asked him internally to confirm his intention to stay at Leipzig, and Eberl didn't give it. Not everyone of our higher ups is as hot in bringing him in as Hoeneß. Eberl visited Hoeneß' home at the Tegernsee in the summers of 2022 and 2023. In the next supervisory board meeting (in the week from the 13th of November) they will talk/make a decision.

  • who makes decisions: during the Kahn/Brazzo time Brazzo made the calls, and had to present his ideas to the supervisory board to get the funds (transfers that cost more than 25m€ incl. wages, so basically every transfer, are contingent on their clearance). During the task force every relevant board was included, so there was no need to present it to the supervisory board (I'll shorten it now to SVB). Nagelsmanns dismissal was decided by Brazzo + Kahn, the SVB got only informed. They weren't satisfied with that, and now they implemented a protocol that must include the SVB in decisions about high ranking employees. Currently Freund is the one who makes the player decisions.

  • Boateng: Münster was the deciding game that lead Freund to contact him. De Ligt is out for the next 2 weeks. The sporting side didn't trust Tikvic to make the necessary next steps. Altschäffl and Falk are both sceptical about the deal happening.

  • Sane: his decision about extending/leaving will happen next summer, everyone wants to keep him. Sane renovated his house and put a more modern gym in it, his family feels good in Munich

  • Casteels: no topic for Bayern.

  • Davies: no contract talks yet

  • Javier Guerra: Spanish CM talent from Valencia, we have him on our list, but nothing hot

  • some insights into the gala after the CL: not the best atmosphere, Uli Köhler (Sky commentator) was grumpy, location was bad, Tuchel stayed till 2:30 AM. Dreesen held the speech, and highlighted Ulreichs contribution to the win. Classic buffet (Rinderfilet und Geflügel, Pilzsauce, Kartoffelbrei, Panacotta, Schokokuchen), our beer sponsor always brings girls in a dirndl who give out beer, journalists have to pay for the food etc as to not be partial
