As long as you're all sorted, even though I'm not quite sure why you couldn't log into Sync with your existing instance credentials...but anyway you're good now, thats the main thing ๐๐ป

I don't use Sync, but if it has access to your account settings, as many apps do, then you could change this from within the app..
As its an account setting, then yes it's effect is global.
The option of whether to show bots or not, is'nt app specific, its in your Lemmy account settings.

Still using an S10e, & getting around 7-8 hrs SOT, great phone, perfect size, good cameras & screen, with the bonus of SD card support & a headphone jack..
