My son was super excited for an 80s Swatch I gave him. I’d tried to get him to wear other watches, like the SKX007 and a couple Seiko 5s and an old Hamilton military issue but the Swatch stuck.

Seamaster would get great but Swatch Group is desperate to make Blancpain relevant. So far, no good.

Nobody’s gonna expose him till all the whales get their investment plus “reasonable rate of return.”

Looks super sharp. That strap is the bees knees.

The most egregious example is the Planet Ocean 39. You can barely see the dial for the overly large numbers.

My wife’s worn her Solarbeat every day for 2 years. It looks and works just fine. I’d say yes.

I almost never buy watches new. Not only because I like to hunt, I just have no emotional attachment to the idea that “nobody has ever held this XYZ” before. I really don’t understand the attraction in the slightest. If condition is new, and it has a warranty from the mfgr, it’s new.

Love when moonphases had man on the moon. Now they’re all so boring, except Sarpaneva.

My wife read the strangest thing and this appears to confirm:

Women think about murder.

Men the Roman Empire.
