VMware esxi. The only one I tried, and it works amazing.

ESXi here too, on consumer hardware.

Ubuntu Server for Docker hosts.

TrueNAS for.. NAS.

All on one server.

Do you put your router in ESXi or is that a separate box?

I have Sophos UTM running flawlessly in a VM on ESXi.
