The main thing I took away from the Panderverse= Disney should create new diverse characters. Moana was good, Coco was good, Encanto was good. Do more of that and less making old movies with slight changes and

Agreed. The problem with the Little Mermaid remake wasn't that Ariel was black. It is that it was a bad movie. They remade a movie that didnt need to be remade in order to cash in on people's nostalgia.

It isn't as if they remade the movie as-is but made Ariel white that it would have been a blockbuster

It sucked ass. When I realized I was looking at my phone during “under the sea” because it was so boring, I knew it was all downhill from there.
