FFS. I was putting all my Aussie hopes on this guy.

From a purely bball perspective, he was already looking like the odd man out in the Thunder lineup. He might have just destroyed his own spot on the team.

Don't know if you're joking or not lol. Giddey was the guy I pinned all my hopes on after Simmons had disappointed me for years.

He plays for Team USA though.

Meanwhile Simmons has rejected every opportunity to represent Australia since before he got drafted. Along comes Giddey who is happy to play for the Boomers whenever he can...and now this.

Its always the ones you care about that kill you.
