Its been April since I came back.

I always had a good time there, culture, people, food, nature, short term friends and some dating

Here I have high rent, no long term friends, non existant dating, it makes me always think about booking a ticket back, including all my friends saying they will go

Anyone have a similiar feeling?

i traveled for years. now i have a family, kids. it's a small window of time that you have this freedom. don't waste it

The best option is avoiding the family / kids and just plowing (dating) for decades.

that sounds pretty lonely.

not to mention all the awkward meetup with cousins and friends who all have kids and you're alone.

So your saying to have kids because 'everyone else is' and your not comfortable being alone with yourself and/or a partner?

Don't give into the pressures of society.

"Omg totally awks... better devote my life to raising a child for multiple decades to avoid the cringe."

Or just meet a fellow nomad and don't have kids ever 🙂

DINK. And maybe get a puppy and be Dual Income Loving Dog Owners.

That's what my wife and I do. Only problem is that traveling with a dog really restricts where we can go. I'd love to go to Iceland or Australia but I'm not dealing with the quarantine process!

Everything else is pretty great though. We're on a one-year visa in France now. A good travel partner makes things better IMO.

Well, the DILDO life isn’t for everyone, you know?

I see what you did there.
