He wouldn't just be giving it up, he'd be giving it up to get his shit rocked. Then he'd be giving up NFL money because it's not guaranteed

A lot of NFL money over the length of the contract can be guaranteed, especially for the 5, 6 year contracts. But you also have to be insanely good to demand that kind of contract, and only a few in the entire league are good enough.
