Since November 15th, LaMelo Ball is averaging 35.3/6.8/8.8/1.3/0.3 on 60.8% TS despite only averaging 4.5 FTA per game. He has finished with at least 34/5/5 in each game, that is the longest streak of 34+ point games by any player at any point so far this season.

The Hornets are 2-2 during this stretch. They have faced the Bucks, Knicks, Celtics and Wizards.

With the way LaMelo is playing right now he is definetly looking like he will make his second All-Star appearance. He also has the second longest active streak of 25+ point games in a row with 9. He is only second to Kevin Durant who currently has 14.

Yup. This is on par with all the other random stat lines we see now a days that bleacher report and karma farmers try to hype ... Jokic is the first player in NBA history to average 26.327 ppg, 10.89 rpg, and 8.41 apg on Thursdays in December while only eating cheeseburgers the day before. No one fucking cares.

I see your point but. we do care a lot more about the 2x mvp champ than Lamelo’s 4th week stats

Nah I disagree on your example, you example is a cherry picked stats with arbitrary cut offs and this is more of a single stat being points, while this is more of Lamelo is scoring a shit ton rn and the other stats are to add context to how good he’s been outside of scoring, while it’s a real small sample size I don’t think it’s the same thing as the infamous Thad young type stats
