A large ego is a valuable tool to get to the NBA and thrive, but it’s also what tanks these guys once they begin to see the sun slowly set on their careers.

The typical “you can do what we do so you talk” is the beginning of the end. And he knows it.

Yup. It’s a tale as old as time.

It honestly makes guy like Vince Carter or Paul Pierce that much more refreshing. Those guys successfully became role players as old ass men instead of trying to still be stars when the time had passed.

It’s funny how LeBron has the opposite problem. Dude wants to be the second/third option but AD’s just made of glass.
