Lavine is barely putting up all star caliber stats while being the “star” of a bad team. He’s due $40M+ for the next few years, & has a trade kicker. He’s a subpar defender, isn’t a strong play maker, & is average at best from 3. Why exactly would we trade all our our depth, including a great young contract, for this dude? This reeks of either LAL desperation, or just CHI using us as leverage. I hope it’s the latter.
Thought it was obvious, but guess I should have specified “This Year”. He’s currently shooting 34% from 3. Quick google search shows this years 3pt average is 36%. Hence “average at best”
