But can it help me download videos from Microsoft Stream which is now in Sharepoint? Has been driving me nuts trying to get a new workable method for this.

If it’s via browser I would look into the Firefox plugin VideoDiwnloadHelper. I’m able to rip most browser streamed videos with it no problem.

This + yt-dlp is what I'm using to fill my german Jellyfin library. Haven't found one site which blocks my downloads succesfully

JDownloader is also awesome. Should be in everyone’s toolkit.

I personally prefer uGet-gtk with aria2 backend. But yeah, having a good download manager is really nice
