Online news is so terrible these days... I have seen a handful of the same story, and I have yet to see any of them really comment on BC's criminal justice system. How does anyone anywhere in this country get more than a few drunk driving convictions? I don't know how far off the pulse I am, but shouldn't someone get a life sentence after, say, 3 convictions? How many people want these sorts of people out in society who prove multiple times they will be a danger to everyone?
It does feel like a lot, but how many chances should be given to people who think driving around a loaded weapon while intoxicated is a good idea?
Driving is not a right, and I think if I knew someone kept getting out of jail and waving a loaded gun around at citizens wasn't being taken seriously, I'd have a problem with that, too.
Do you believe this guy had a driver's license, and him having it or not had anything to do with him driving?

A life sentence feels like a lot... But we should be much more willing to permanently revoke licenses.
