“BD” refers to Franco-Belgian comics, but let's open things up to include ALL Euro comics and GN's. Euro-style work from around the world is also welcome!

* BD = "Bandes dessinées"
* BDT = Bedetheque
* GN = graphic novel
* LBK = Lambiek
* LC = "Ligne claire"

So once upon a time, a BD colleague snapped this at market.

Bit later, I tried to sort it in GIMP.

you start by conceiving a trapezoid, then keep dragging the corners around until things finally look ‘square / rectangular.’

Interesting, that sounds like a powerful tool to "straighten" almost any 2d surface you have a picture from a slant angle of.

I used to reconstruct backglasses for the virtual pinball scene

Cool! Although I was never good at playing pinball, I always found these forefathers of video games pretty interesting.

(Wagon Christ – Saddic Gladdic)

What is that? It´s chill, a bit funky and has nice synths, at the same time I can´t really put it anywhere. Reminds me just a little of Dabeull, who slaps much harder and is more funky of course.

Mate!
Give me your favorite Dabeull tune right away... please?

Noooo, don´t make me choose!!! Honestly, I tried but I couldn't. So instead I give you this impressively well recorded live concert:

Dabeull Band - Live in Paris

In general, I really like his vocoder singing and also his comedic side, so those two are definitely among my favorites:

Dabeull - Johnny Indastudio

Dabeull - INDASTUDIO Redux (I laughed so hard, I almost fell off my chair)

While we´re at it, check out this, the sound is so incredible:

L'Impératrice — Anomalie bleue

Also, just in case you don´t know him yet, I very much recommend checking out Thundercat!

I hope it´s not too much, I guess I got in a flow state again, sorry! 😅

Awesome and excellent, wow...
Note: Whilst simultaneously finding it "excellent & awesome,"
Uh... as Harvey Pekar liked to say, hahaha. 😅
