Anyone playing LE release? Will be playing as a duo with my spouse as soon as we're done with work today!

I played a little bit on my Steam Deck during my lunch break at work. 1.0 massively improved controller and Linux support, so it runs on the Deck perfectly out of the box now!

The one thing it's missing is a way to turn in place. Makes precision aiming very difficult with a controller.

Are you playing the native client or via proton? I've read there are some issues with textures on the native client.

I started on the native client, which worked fine, but had no map/minimap or UI selection highlight textures. I just switched over to Custom Proton-GE 8-32, and it fixes the missing textures, but most frustratingly, online play isn't available and offline characters don't seem to be shared between native Linux client and Proton. It also cuts off the sides of the screen (at least when playing docked to a TV; I haven't tried using Proton while handheld). EDIT: This can be fixed just by changing resolution to anything else then back to the default.

So you've gotta choose right from the start whether you want to use the native Linux client and hope things get better or stick with offline-only Proton.

At this point, I've lost my motivation to play, and I'm just gonna wait for a Linux client patch.

EDIT: It's so much worse than I realized. The Linux client doesn't have Steam Cloud, so switching to Proton deletes your characters permanently. I lost 5 hours of gameplay that I can't get back, and because I'm past the 2-hour limit, I can't refund it through Steam.
