I made an appointment and tried it at an Apple Store the week it came out. The UI and immersion are amazing, but after 20m my forehead was warm and sweaty and my neck started to ache. Heard the headband that goes over the top distributes the weight better.
Once they figure out how to make it 1/2 the weight and 1/5 the price, it'll go mainstream.
Tip for Apple: don't make your AR headset out of thick aluminium and glass with extra displays and lenses on the outside, and nothing to balance it on the rear.
The company that sells a $1000 monitor stand and $700 computer case wheels?
Apple will never live down the case wheels. Ever.
I'd forgotten about the wheels.
The mouse that you have to turn upside down to charge, however...
