Is fighting between people supposed to be funny?
Only one person fought here. It's the one who brain farted so hard he did not get the movie quote, even though it is a direct reply to the quote that they were referencing originally. And yes, them getting offended over their own mistake, that's kinda funny.
It's possible the commenter had never seen the movie. Quotes do get around.
Yeah, "That's just, like, your opinion, man" is very commonly quoted, but not the part that comes after.
If you're throwing out quotes and have no idea where they come from that's kind of on you.
I REEEEALLY wanna like the movie but I keep falling asleep when I watch it… I feel like I’m the only person in the world it doesn’t click with. I’ll give it another try soon.
I gave it a fair chance a few times, and I am not a fan. I was told by friends that I needed to be high to like it, which has confirmed in my head that it's not for me. Things should be able to stand up on their own.

I’ll try it again, but pothigh. It’s been a while for me, but it sounds like that’s the key.
I didn't like it for the longest time.. you got to be just the right high to really appreciate the movie. Love it now after a friend finally sat me down.
It’s been a looooong time since I’ve been pothigh, but I have some ancient dabs and an oil cart laying around. Maybe I’ll do that.
I haven't either, but the screenshot very clearly states the situation though and OP also provided the referenced scene in a comment an hour before they commented.
