I'm glad I doubled down in investing in my arrstack setup a few years ago. I find the more friends I share it with, the less storage is needed for each additional friend since they mostly watch stuff already requested by my other friends.

Yeah, shit like this is what it takes for me to work on my arrstack setup. Need to get back on it now.

It was worth it. Finally cut the cord and got 6 12tb hdds. In raid 6 with zfs. Working so great.

Just make sure you setup zfs to do monthly scans and email you for issues. One of my drives kept throwing errors and had to RMA it.
