When Senator Jim Justice of West Virginia was asked about the Senate Republicans' newly released portion of the proposed spending bill that requires parents of children older than 14 to work for Medicaid, he said, "biblically, we are supposed to work."

Jesus also healed the sick. And he didn’t charge them for it.

Alas, working and receiving healthcare do not have to be inextricably linked. It’s nuts that our health insurance is tied to employment here in the US.

In fact, having a social safety net encourages entrepreneurship.

This guy sucks.

Even more nuts that they specifically want it to be that way to coerce people into working in order not to be left to die

Healthy enough to work or sick enough to die.

That's what they want. Work or die. It's that black and white for the ~~slave~~ working class.
