This is CTAC
What does CTAC mean?
Critical threat advisory company. Used to be CIF. Under JSOC they do hardcore DA raids like underground bunkers or compounds. Right now it’s mainly in Africa against the many Islamic state groups. Extremely niche and small group of silent professionals.
That's really cool, are they better than Delta Force. I don't really know the rankings for all these different groups.
Well, delta(1st-SFOD), seal team 6(devgru) and the 24th special tactics squadron(Air Force T1) are the more known tier 1 units (there are much more secretive units like JREG). Delta happens to be one of the pickiest selection/hardest to get into which is why people see it as “better”, but there isn’t really a “better” just different op tempo and area of operation. CTAC isn’t a tier 1 unit in itself, but they can work alongside tier 1 units and often do more or less the same exact thing. CTAC usually works with SFGs like “10th SFG” for example. One thing I will say is, tier 1 operators of any branch often try out for delta, but it’s almost never the other way around. Delta does have a legendary type status in that sense.
Thank you for explaining it all, its all very fascinating
No problem! It really is
