As preseason comes to an end, let’s take another look at Austin Reaves shooting splits in the 59 games he’s played in since the Westbrook trade - 54.2% / 48.4% / 87.7% (alien.top)

Austin finishes preseason with shooting splits of 62.5% / 67.7% / 90.9%.

The 59 games includes 27 regular season games, 16 playoff games, 5 exhibition games, 8 fiba World Cup games, and 3 preseason games.

It has gotten to the point where I’m more surprised when the ball doesn’t go in the basket. (Not surprising when the statistics back it up.

This might be the greatest run of efficiency for a 6’5 and under basketball player over a 50+ game sample of all time. And this isn’t low volume. I’m sure some 3 point specialists have had crazy streaks, but that’s not comparable. Don’t know how we can test this theory, but anyway.
