Hello every one, I was questioning myself today about the possibility to set the battery limit, a very useful feature I'm experiencing right now on my Microsoft surface. It can be enabled through bios by pressing the "low volume" button while holding the power button.

This feature gives the possibility to keep the percentage around 50% and I've find it good for my battery life because my laptop is constantly under charge thanks to the fact that there are powerplugs everywhere I go. So, no reason to let it discharging...

I don't know if this is possible to do the same in the new framework 16 that's going to arrive in Q1, 2024..

At the very least this feature is available on the 13 AMD laptop. Hopefully it'll be in the 16.

What bios is it? Because mine is customized for surface devices so I'm not sure where I can go on internet and check some Info's.

On my FW13 AMD it's the InsydeH2O bios

I can set a charge limit in it
